Remembering HRH Prince Philip
1921 - 2021
The nation remembers and honours the amazing life of service of HRH Prince Philip.
At All Saints we want to make space this week for you to pray, remember and honour his life in the following ways.
Lay flowers at All Saints Church and tie a ribbon on the cross
We invite everyone to come and lay flowers outside All Saints.
There will be an allocated area made available from Sunday 11 April in the morning. This will be to the right of the church tower.
Please remove and recycle any plastics before laying your flowers.
All flowers will be removed at 9am on Sunday 18 April.
An addition, while you lay flowers for Prince Philip, you may also want to come and tie a ribbon on the Easter cross in memory of someone close to you whom you have lost or as a way of praying for our nation and world during the pandemic. The cross will remain up for at long at it is helpful.
Prayer at All Saints Church before the funeral
The national service to remember Prince Philips life will be held at 3pm on Saturday 17 April in Windsor.
We invite you to come and spend some time in pray and reflection between12 - 2pm on 17 April at All Saints. This will allow you plenty of time to return home to see the service on national television. You may want to plan to spend 10 - 15 mins in the church.
The church has a capacity limit in line with COVID restrictions and will operate a one in one out policy if needed on the day.
Please wear a mask and respect social distancing.
A book of Condolence to sign
Due to the current coronavirus restrictions we are unable to have physical book of condolence. However, the Church of England website has a special page where you can leave a message. Link to CofE book of condolence.
